Macworld's Antenna Reviews

Macworld has put online its reviews of the Dr. Bott antennas for the AirPort Extreme Base Station. These antennas work only with the $250 modem version of the AxBS. A sectorized antenna covers 70 degrees of arc and received 4 1/2 mice out of 5 possible; an omnidirectional antenna received four mice. The antenna are $150 for the 70-degree version and $100 for the omni.

There are other sources of antennas for Airport Extreme base stations. Hyperlinktech has a robust selection at prices that are very attractive. You must specify the correct connector when ordering. They provide the auto-sensing device on Airport Extreme antennas for an extra $10.00.
