AxBS 5.0.4 Firmware
Apple has released the 5.0.4 firmware update for AirPort Extreme Base Station. This may finally fix the configuration errors I've been finding in which a device appears to disappear from the network.

I installed the 5.0.4 firmware, and have not yet seen that disappearance bug -- and I had been experiencing it, too. Let's all keep our fingers crossed, huh?

Sorry...still getting disconnects using AirPort Extreme Base Station and 12" PowerBook.

Firmware 5.0.4 affects file transfer speed.
They can drop to 5kps!
My advice is don't update yet, until Apple have a fix

Yes, 5.04 firmware has absolutely killed my file transport speed. 54 Mbs NOT, 1 Mbps perhaps. Since this firmware upgrade is not backwards flashable, what can we do?
