AirPort Card price drops to $79
In just reviewing the Apple Store's pricing and availability for AirPort equipment, I noticed that the AirPort Card for the original slot is now $79, down from its $99 price since introduction. The new Extreme products are still listed as 2-4 weeks out.

But when will the Airport go down in price? Is it still $199? Same as the extreme?

I would guess that Apple will cancle the plain old model as it uses an older card (from Agere). I would be surprised if they continue it, and if so, they'd have to price it at $150 or less to be competitive in the least.

Well, still no movement on Airport v2 price. People are still paying $170+ for a used one on ebay!! Unbelievable!
